The Village Guy is an award winning positive impact platform started with a desire to get to know Paarl and Wellington through the eyes of the community by speaking who share their success stories. The purpose is to create a platform of awareness and engagement for the community of Paarl, with the ultimate purpose to Build an Inspired Community through storytelling.

The Village Guy has received several awards and recogntion for his contribution to the Paarl and Wellington communities.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Born in Paarl, the founder Myles Minnaar wanted to contribute positively to his community, by doing launching The Village Guy as a passion project to spread inspiring stories and keeping the community informed about the happenings within Paarl and Wellington.

The platform was established in 2018 and has established a growing network that is taking Paarl to a new level.

The Village Guy shares stories that inspire hope and build an inspired and motivated community.

Our engagement is as followers:

• A monthly reach of more than 2 million Facebook profiles and 16k on Instagram
• 40k followers on Facebook, and 5k on Instagram
• Our website has more than 12k visits monthly, and our youtube videos are just under 100k views.
