Born and bred in Paarl, I wanted to contribute positively to our community, and therefore in 2018 I started The Village Guy as a passion project to spread inspiring stories and keeping the community informed about the happenings within Paarl and Wellington.
To do this I decided to interview and showcase the various individuals in our community who are doing amazing things by following their passion and dreams. The purpose for this, is to create some hope and inspire the youth by showing them that anything is possible if you work hard at your dreams.
We in the story telling business, and the platform has grown substantially by spreading good news and inspirational stories. We have interviewed some amazing individuals and you can watch them here:

Our Live online show includes updates on sport and news, as well as guest interviews with local residents who have achieved a goal in the past week. These include residents who have been selected for a provincial or national team; residents who have been awarded and achieved something significant.
