As a young kid from Chicago in Paarl, Alan had a keen interest in maths and science. Not knowing then that he would head up SA’s Radio Active Waste Institution, he kept this interest alive by constantly learning, and feeding the dream to be a leader in his field. Today, Alan is the acting CEO at the National Radioactive Waste Disposal Insititute!
