The Village Guy Foundation is a registered NPO, and was established with the sole reason to uplift and inspire the Paarl and Wellington community. The goal of the foundation is to raise funds to assist the youth in making their dreams a reality. Too many kids are missing out on opportunities to progress at their sport, talent etc.,and we, as a community, need to fix this.
Super hardworking kids have to raise funds by themselves, with help from parents, in order to participate at sporting, academic and cultural events locally and across the goal, sometimes even representing their country, but are denied this opportunity because of lack of funds.
The Village Guy Foundation’s ultimate purpose is to build an inspired community, and make dreams a reality for the youth!
The foundation is a registered NPO ( 223-501), with a BBBEE certificate. We have applied for our 18A tax exemption certification as we meet the requirements of a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) set out in section 30(3) of the Income Tax Act No 58 of 1962. The foundation has not yet been in a position to draw up annual financial statements.
