After visiting the Acrobranch in Constantia just over a year ago, I, and the kids, were quite excited to hear that they will be opening a branch just around the corner from Paarl. The new Acrobranch Stellenbosch, is closer to Klapmuts than to Stellenbosch. It is 20 minutes away from Paarl, and is situated on the R304 road. Just type in ‘Joostenberg Farm’ on your GPS, and you will be guided to the venue. It is right opposite the weigh bridge.
Acrobranch Stellenbosch is a carbon copy of its Constantia version. It’s surrounded by trees, with almost 12 different obstacles available for all ages. There are 5 categories to choose from, which is restricted by age and height.
Unfortunately all the categories are not available yet, but there are courses available for under 12 year olds.. The more difficult categories will be introduced very soon.
The average time on a category is approximately 2 hours – which is guaranteed to keep the kids, and some adults very busy.
The biggest difference between the 2, is that Acrobranch Stellenbosch has a craft beer venue, as well as restaurant. Both these venues cater for all! There is a play area for kids, and a real relaxing atmosphere to enjoy.
It’s the perfect family outing, which includes some energy sapping exercises for the kids, some delicious food, craft beer and a variety of wines.
